writes: Freedom is an ideal
long lost to the world. No-one wishes to be free if the
price of such freedom is the loss of self- for who are
we, if not but slaves? Slaves to the market, to greed
and to fear. It's a brave new world and from the moment
you are born you are selected for a purpose which no-one
may know. It is no use trying to fight the system; as
any gambler will tell you, the house always
wins.
That does not stop you, of course- you try
to fight it just as much as that gambler keeps trying to
beat the odds- although somewhere deep inside, your soul
is screaming out to you to stop, that the system wants
you to fight, wants you to lose. Yet from the day that
you are released into this world- or placed into
captivity, whichever it may be- you begin your
conditioning. The tapestry of your experiences is
leading you to a conclusion, tieing you to your place
with a thousand threads the weight of chains; a
slave.
Your soul rebels even as your mind caves
in, accepting, under the pressure of its training. So
you commute to work, sit behind your desk, and do your
job; forever.
"Tomorrow," you smile, "I will
receive a promotion!" Trust me, even if you do, you
haven't earned it- for a slave cannot earn anything;
rather, a slave merely receives whatever the system
deigns to give, and only given because its receiving
will serve the system's ends.
Those that have
reached the apparent top soon realise that all they have
gained is the ability to help the system even more- but
they don't care, for their conditioned minds see this as
some kind of a reward. The incentive for the slaves to
continue their work is the concept of a reward. For
example, money (upon which the system is based), a
promotion (in order to earn more of this money) or even
seats at a football game (which were bought with money
from other, working areas of the system). Even the
humble sunset is now an excuse to do more work, for
without such occasional distractions the slaves might
get bored of sustaining the system.
Who, then,
controls the system? All of those who interact with it
are slaves, worker ants bred for the purpose of
sustaining the Queen. The system is its own master, for
it is almost alive, and cannot be controlled for it is a
controller. Yet even the queen of a hive is but a slave
to purpose; similarly, the system is only the face of
stability. Within it there is no unpredictability, no
change, no growth. It is stagnant, it is safe; and that
is why the slaves choose to accept it- out of
fear.
They know not what they do, yet they
continue to do it, for it feeds their fear, which in
turn controls them. The media, like a pack of jackals,
fuel this fear, helping the system, trying to increase
their rewards. So the people support the government, for
it provides stability, an absence of fear; the
foundation of the system.
Those of us who choose
to defect, to remove the hold that the system has over
us, have found our purpose - to remove the stability of
the system; to destroy the government. Without a
governing body there can be no stability, and without
stability there can be no system. So we attempt, out of
the goodness of our hearts, to free the horde of
humanity from the clutches of evil - we attempt to
destroy the government.
Salute us, for we are the
liberationists - the people who chose to work for the
good of humankind. When you see us portrayed by the
media as terrorists, as the root of all evil- do not
believe. For if you did then you would be afraid, and in
your fear you would seek the stability of the system,
and our lives might be proved to be planned,
orchestrated and executed perfectly; by the system, and
for the system's ends...
Forgive us, for we know
not what we
do...
